            La Mante est un insecte carnassier des régions chaudes, appelé "MANTE RELIGIEUSE" à cause de ses puissantes pattes antérieures souvent repliées et rapprochées, qui évoquent les mains d'une personne en prière, cette position sert à saisir brusquement sa prise. En plus...La Mante religieuse femelle dévore le mâle après l'accouplement...(charmant)...
D'ailleurs par extension (voir la définition dans les ouvrages spécialisés) : La Mante religieuse c'est une femme cruelle qui se montre exigeante avec ses partenaires, donc, c'est une "dévoreuse d'hommes". On pourrait presque philosopher sur cet argumentaire caricatural !!!).
