South Rim

            One of the first glances I got at the Canyon, just pure awesomeness.

And here is the start of the 
Grand Canyon set, what an amazing place first off. It really did blow me away after reading magazines, seeing pictures, documentaries, nothing really can prepare you for how immense the canyon is....it really is amazing.

Anyways, we were lucky enough to stay on the rim for a few days (lucking out and getting a cabin in July right on the rim) The grand canyon is obviously gigantic, to give you a good sense of its size...its about as long as West Virginia...so seeing all of it would be quite the task. None the less our cabin was right off of the Bright Angel trailhead, which we later hiked (In 100 degree weather)
