Cathedral – Catedral de Ávila, HDR

The Cathedral of Ávila in the south of Old Castile, Spain, was planned as a cathedral-fortress, its apse being one of the turrets of the city walls. It is surrounded by a number of houses or palaces, the most important being: the Palace of the Evening, the Palace of the Infant King, the Palace of Valderrábanos, which were responsible for the defence of the Puerta de los Leales (The Gate of the Loyal Ones) also known as La Puerta del Peso de la Harina (The Flour Road Gate) [Wikipedia].

La Catedral de Ávila fue proyectada como templo y fortaleza, siendo su ábside uno de los cubos de la muralla.
Está rodeada de varias casas o palacios señoriales siendo los más importantes: el de los Velada, el del Rey Niño y el de Valderrábanos, los cuales tenían asignada la defensa de La Puerta de los Leales o del Peso de la Harina (Wikipedia).

HDR generado a partir de un horquillado de cinco exposiciones (paso de 1EV) con trípode.
