Accepted - In The Style Of National Geographic - Portfolio. Honourable Mention in the Theme competition "New Year's Resolution" - "To be less controlled, more impulsive" - NO DIVING - Ryde Pier on the Isle of Wight, off the South coast of Hampshire England. Young lads queue to take their turn in diving from the victorian pier into the Solent waters below. A catamaran has just arrived and those people collecting travellers are driving up and down the wooden pier surface to collect them. The boy standing on the railing was about to leap, when his friend in white shorts "jumped" the queue, running across the pier from the far side, leaping over the railing and off out into the wide blue yonder.
