Idaho Green, Seed Potato Fields - a photo on Flickriver

            There's not a lot to do at night in rural Idaho but driving out to see the sunset over the green rich potatoe seed is a lovely site.  The misquitoes are out but so are the birds swooping around to eat them.  I love the soft light that was helped that night by some storm clouds that passed by just a half hour before sunset time. The first potato farmers in Idaho where the Indians and then the Mormans.  The Snake River valley provided a rich soil and ample water to make this crop king of the state.
