            China - 08 September 2014.  Our hotel outside of the old town of Likeng, Central China . We had to wake the front desk attendant asleep in the lobby in the morning.

Likeng Village is located in the township of Wuyuan County in Jiangxi Province established during the late Song Dynasty (960AD – 1279AD).  The people who lived there advocated the doctrines of Zhu Xi, who is the leading figure of the most influential rationalist Neo-Confucian in China. Scholars often refer to the village as the “Origin of Neo-Confucianism”.
