Trapeze Toys (05-02-09) (091) - a photo on Flickriver

            These trapeze toys date from between 1977 and 1982.  They have a dozen different makers marks on them.  I think they came from the drug store, possibly when I was sick, because the Gargamel one has a $1.69 Treasury price tag on it.  My favorite one is Donald Duck, the oldest, which was probably either a yard sale find or a hand-me-down.   I really liked these things a lot when I was a kid, though they seem kind of boring compared to what kids play with these days.  They say ages 3 & Up, but according to the dates I must have had these when I was younger than that.

In case you can't tell, you push the buttons on the sides to move the string that the trapeze hangs on, which makes the figure flip around in an amusing fashion.

Donald Duck is my favorite because of the way his little legs flop around, as opposed to the others, whose legs don't move at all.
