Sunset on the Land of the Rising Sun

Tokyo. Endless urbanization as far as the eye sees.

I'm quite proud of this 25-shot panorama of the sun setting over the densely populated expanse of Tokyo, taken from Tokyo Skytree. I'm a fan of doing these: sharp, multi-photograph stitches that take the detail from each individual shot and render a final result that's so big and dense with little details that you can peer at it for a while.

Skytree is unmissable in Tokyo. It dominates the city's skyline, and is probably the best place to view a sunset from, as the sun sets almost directly behind Mt. Fuji when seen from Skytree. Be sure to go, and leave yourself enough time in advance for a sunset to go up and get a good spot to watch from, as it gets crowded!
