From the archives...as I need something to warm me today! It's cold here in PA.

The story behind this shot:
While visiting Letchworth State Park in western New York, my husband and I crossed paths with two couples - both with young daughters…each of the girls looked to be about a year and a half to two years old. I don’t think they knew one another as they were approaching from different directions toward the same path.

As we all reached the same intersection, the little girls spied one another. The blonde one toddled over to the dark-haired girl in the jacket and grabbed her hand. Then they looked at one another with such joy. I can only imagine how wonderful and unexpected it was for them to find someone their own size amongst all the tall adults. Their faces just lit with the excitement. Then, they looked at the parents, who were all melting with cuteness overload, and smiled…then took off down the path with one another.

It was precious to watch, and I would have loved to snap pic’s all the while, but I didn’t want to scare their parents (people shooting pictures of MY children would wig me out). I snapped this one picture as we were walking away from them.
