Pescando en el Mar Menor - a photo on Flickriver

            El Mar Menor, con 180 kilómetros cuadrados de superficie, es la laguna salada más grande de Europa. Está separado del Mar Mediterráneo por una estrecha franja de arena de 22 kilómetros de largo y entre 100 y 800 metros de ancho, denominada La Manga del Mar Menor,en la que se abren unos canales o “golas” que ponen en comunicación los dos mares.
El entorno natural, el buen clima, la calidad de sus aguas y las inmejorables condiciones para la práctica de deportes náuticos hacen que el Mar Menor sea un destino turístico de referencia. En cuanto a la pesca, nos encontramos especies como la Dorada, La lubina, La mabra o herrera, el sargo o el mújol entre otros muchos.
