Tras apenas hora y media en las profundidades de la Gruta de Lacave, los colores y sonidos del mundo "exterior" se perciben con renovado interés. Las florecillas amarillas que crecen entre la hierba, las yemas en las ramas aún desnudas de un almendro... La incipiente primavera se nos aparece durante el corto paseo a través de un prado que nos lleva a la orilla del Ouysse, un pequeño afluente del Dordogne. Sobre el riachuelo, el Castillo de Belcastel vigila el valle desde lo alto del despeñadero. Las nubes amenazantes nos anunciaban el final de las vacaciones de Semana Santa: efectivamente, las lluvias  torrenciales nos hicieron volver a casa al día siguiente en lugar de pasar el Sábado de Resurrección en Albi y el Domingo de Gloria en Toulouse. Quizás en otoño...

Just 90 minutes in the depths of the Lacave cavern and the colours and sounds in the "outer" world are perceived with renewed interest. Small yellow flowers among the grass, green buds in a still leafless almond tree... The incipient Spring shows off during the short walk accross the meadow to the shore of the Ouysse, a tributary of the Dordogne. Built in a cliff upon the valley, the Château of Belcastel still keeps some parts from the Middle Age. The threatening clouds announced the end of our Easter holidays: in effect, heavy showers forced us to drive back home instead of visiting Albi and Toulouse during the weekend. Maybe in Autumn...
