This was my first visit to the beach at High Hauxley. It was low tide and although there are some very interesting rock formations at the waters edge, the sea was absolutely dead and I didn't think I would get any interesting shots using either the motion of the water or a long exposure.

Therefore I tried to hunt out some foreground interest elsewhere on the beach. Finding these rocks I got down low to make sure I picked up the lovely detail in them.
