Man with pigeons by Andre Wallace

Andre Wallace has been undertaking commissions for public sculptures
since the 1970s and his work can be seen across Britain from Salford
and Newcastle to London's Docklands. Man with pigeons was presented to
Lord Mayor Iris Steedman, on behalf of the the City, by Sir Richard
Thompson of Capital & Counties. This was on 4th March 1976 to
commemorate the public/private partnership in the building of Eldon
Square shopping centre.
