Stags of Assynt - a photo on Flickriver

Stags of Assynt

Going back through some of my stuff from Scotland, I found a few shots untouched of this group of Stags in the Highlands that I thought deserved an airing, This was shot up in Assynt, near to Ardvreck castle. I recall there was around 15 of them in all, I tried creeping up trying my best not to scare them, of course they had seen me well before I got close, the bottom left one had just spotted me in this shot looking directly at the camera, I had just had enough time to fire off a few shots before they vanished over the hill. A fantastic sight.
