Unfurgettable Encounter - a photo on Flickriver

            Young Bobcat ~ (Lynx rufus)

Last week I had an 'unfurgettable' encounter with a young bobcat. It had found a comfortable nook in a Live Oak tree while it waited for its mama to come back. It appeared quite cozy nestled in the Spanish moss. I stood back and waited for its mother to return. Finally, after the sun went down, she appeared. The young bobcat made its way down the tree and the two dark silhouettes disappeared into the oak hammock.
