The Bird Lady..

"Street photography"

I´ve been thinking about doing this shot in bw for a long time. And today was the day to do it.

This was from the beginning just a shot for fun as I was only out for the swan at the time. But as time passes this photograph suddenly means more to me than the one I was after from the beginning. (Story about the shot is on the other swan page).

I´m getting more and more into storytelling as it gives me a bigger personal satisfaction and a sense of photographical purpose. I made contact with this woman because of the camera, and we became friends even if it lasted for a short time. It was a great feeling, because without my camera I would just have passed her, I would never heard her story...
