Michaela (100 Strangers 2/100) - a photo on Flickriver

I met Michaela on a trip back to my old haunt. Satisfied with a pleasant day spent overlooking the water, and ready for the dive back home, I spotted two young women with - hula hoops! How could I resist? Michaela told me she has been working with the plastic rings for about a year. A dancer - it showed in the grace of her movements - she spun and twirled and balanced the hoops and made them seem more a part of her than separate objects. I was mesmerized. As it turns out she is also a photographer - she learned on film. Ahhh.... A beautiful, interesting and charming young woman and no longer a stranger.
In retrospect I wish I had asked her to move out from under the shade of the gazebo roof... blame the several beers preceding and the charm of Michaela.
