Trapped in drops

            Hi,
This is my Macro Monday photo for June 19, 2017 theme Drips, Drops and Splashes.

This is a long time I wanted to try the drops with an image reflected so this theme came up, there was no way I would skip this week. After multiple tries, this is the final shot that I like best. The butterfly is a ceramic ornament purchased in Mexico a while ago. I like the color and didn’t want to do flowers. Magnification is high, I use the Vintage Olympus 50mm Auto Macro with 47mm of extension tubes. It is also a focus stack of 5 or 6 images – I don’t remember exactly. The drops are actually very tiny and… I’ll admit, I cheated a little an use glycerin.
