The mirrors of the soul - a photo on Flickriver

Much as I really hate to see such beautiful birds as captives, I couldn't resist taking an image of this absolutely stunning great grey owl when I saw it as part of a display at Pollok Country Park recently. I just love their eyes, and as I enjoyed a fantastic presentation by Shamil Khairov, who specializes in black and white, at my photography club last night, I thought I'd take the colour out, but keep those beautiful eyes in colour.
