PARC NATUREL REGIONAL DU MORVAN / FORÊT DE SAINT-PRIX

"Lors de la dernière révision de sa charte en 2007, le parc naturel régional du Morvan a procédé à un découpage du territoire morvandiau pour obtenir quatre grands ensembles, subdivisés en vingt-trois entités paysagères. La commune de Saint-Prix est située dans « La Dorsale boisée » grand ensemble comprenant « le Haut Morvan Boisé » en tant qu'entité paysagère. Cette dernière est constituée essentiellement de vastes forêts, avec de petites clairières, et de plans d'eau.
Sur le territoire de la commune de St-Prix est implantée une forêt domaniale : la forêt de Saint-Prix (contenance : 1 071,38 ha), peuplée de conifères." (Wikipédia)
