De lo que fué este hotel en el pasado el poeta Julian del Casal escribió

– Tiene a la entrada una verja de hierro cuyas hojas permanecen siempre abiertas. Detrás de la verja se encuentra un jardín encantador, lleno de plantas deliciosas y de arbustos floridos. Los senderos están cubiertos de arena, a la manera de un parque inglés. En los ángulos del jardín se han levantado cuatro glorietas espaciosas, bajo cuya sombra pueden descansar los huéspedes, sentados alrededor de elegantes mesitas, saboreando sus licores predilectos.

- the entry has an iron gate with leaves always remain open. Behind the gate is a lovely garden full of delicious plants and flowering shrubs. The paths are covered with sand, in the manner of an English park. In the corners of the garden have raised four spacious pavilions, under whose shade guests can relax, elegant sitting around tables, sipping your favorite liquor.
