Tagliatelle with Meat & Mushrooms in Fra Diavolo sauce with cheese

            And the meat sauce is actually meatless - Morningstar Farms meatless crumbles.  I have to say these were VERY good.  I was quite impressed.  Though they said they were pre-browned, I did a little browning myself with olive oil and some extra garlic.  Once they were sufficiently browned I added a little Cabernet to the mix before adding the sauce.  The sauce was a regular Hunt's sauce with mushrooms I converted into a nice Fra Diavolo sauce by crushing several large dried chilies and adding a few other spices.  As well as fresh onion. 

The Tagliatelle is from Trader Joe's, one of their specialty pastas in a yellow bag.  I can't stress enough how tasty this pasta is.  Its worth every penny, and it really is only slightly more than your standard pasta, unlike those mofo's over at Williams Sonoma making you mortgage your house for glorified linguine.
