A Rolling Mist on the Connecticut River

            Driving out Route 2, we stopped to watch this spectacular sunset at the bend in the Connecticut River near Turners Falls, Massachusetts.

After a while the layer of mist thickened, and breaking "waves" of mist began to form.

During the entire time, flocks of migrating Canadian Geese flew overhead, landing into the mist.  If you look at the large you see their outlines in the haze.
