Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge and Restaurant Kansas City,MO

            Former Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge and Restaurant located at 1600 NE Parvin Rd. in Kansas City,MO.  The property which retained the HJ banner until 1991 has fallen into great disrepair and due to the presence of many people loitering around the establishment I was limited to taking photos from my truck.  The motor lodge is currently operating under the name Super Inn while the restaurant is currently serving as a convenience store specializing in middle eastern food operating under the name Half Moon market.  The motor lodge has flown a number of brands which has resulted in the gate lodge getting heavily altered upon each name change.  The former restaurant spent a few years as an independently owned family restaurant before becoming stripped of its fixtures and reopening as a used furniture outlet.  By 2010 the furniture outlet had closed leaving the building vacant until a few years ago when a small portion of the building was reopened for its current tenant.
