1948 Airstream-Behind our 2012 Flying Cloud

            I noticed a vintage Airstream camping behind us this morning. I thought, "Wow! That's probably 60 years old."
 
Now there are two, both "Bambi" models owned and restored by brothers. We toured them. The one in this picture was a 1948 model. The other, 1961. Amazing restorations by a couple of dedicated and talented enthusiasts.
 
P.S. The 1948 model was the second off of the California manufacturing line and made from the sheet metal used to build WWII P-51 Mustang fighters.
