The 31st Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns - Casino Royale at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, New York City

The Imperial Court of New York marks 31 years of service to the LGBTQ community with the 31st Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns, a gala event studded with royalty, pageantry and dazzling entertainment. This year’s event featured a casino, a galleria of shops and a fabulous silent auction! The evening’s beneficiary will be the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund.

Sir Ian McKellen, CBE, is one of the leading lights of stage and screen accepted the prestigious Fredd E. Tree Spirit of Stonewall award 

Dustin Lance Black (actor) received the 2017 Diamond Award at this year’s celebration. Black is Oscar Award winner for best original screenplay of Milk
