I'm loving seeing our skies clear and blue again but there's no clear sign or reminder that the wildfires still burn throughout our beautiful province.

If you're heading out into our forests this weekend, please be responsible and don't have any campfires or throw your cigarette butt out the window. 🔥

To report a wildfire or irresponsible behaviour call 1-800-663-5555 or *5555 from a cell phone. Information from the public is crucial to ensuring wildfires are responded to as soon as possible. 🔥

British Columbia is in it's 6th week of being in a provincewide state of emegency. A total of 1,026 wildfires have burned nearly 8,950 square kilometres this year breaking the record set in 1958. $315.7 million has been spent fighting these fires. There are still 140 #BCWildfires currently burning in BC. 🔥
