Lego DC Universe Minifigures #3 - Smallville season 1-5

            After reaching the halfway point, and before things go full Justice League (don't worry, customs incoming ;) ) I thought it'd be best to do a quick instalment of my favourite characters of the series.

Lionel Luthor: The true villain of the first few series'. After watching the relationship between him and Lex, it made me wish the character appeared in BvS (as the abused Lex in Smallville actually makes a lot more sense as a character). 
Minifigure is nothing special, but accurately resembles the character enough.

Lex Luthor: I'm not entirely sold on the whole Lex-Clark childhood buddies thing. But they did an excellent job of portraying his slow descent into villainy and hatred for Superman. That being said, while being good, this portrayal is a far cry from the mastermind we've come to know and love. 
The head of the figure is Hux with the sideburns Brasso'd off.

Clark Kent: Tom Welling is the best Clark Kent out there. It's an absolute injustice that he was never given the chance to truly be Superman, as he (probably) would've been the best at that too. 
Torso is a burglar's with most of the printing brasso'd off and a blue undershirt and other details painted on. Later in the series Clark adds the House of El sign to it, so that figure will definitely come soon :)

Brainiac: Took a few liberties with the figure. James Marsters always pulls off the villain role with no effort. Though the portrayal never truly looked like Brainiac (except for the insignia in a few eps) the performance makes him the best Smallville villain thus far. 
I think the Sandman head and hair is perfect for resembling Marsters, and a simple black torso with the insignia painted on it with number 8 wire for his data tentacles make for a simple enough figure.
