An Olympic Drink - a photo on Flickriver

An Olympic Drink

            Wanted to do a shot based on the upcoming olympics so opted to using the colours of the emblem for this shot of spooky bottles with exploding drink.
Blue - Yellow - Black - Green - Red
To create the colours I used green,yellow and blue food colouring, the black was paint and the red was the actual drink that was in the bottle.
This was a very difficult shot to get as using five bottles was beyond insane and took a lot of brain power to pull off.
This was lit with three flashguns.
My Nikon SB600 was on a stand pointing at the background and set at 1/32 power and 85mm zoom.
My two Jessops 360 AFD's where either side of the camera and level with the bottles pointing directly at them and set at 1/8 and 70mm zoom, both flashes where on stands.
All flashes where fired off camera using my Yongnuo RF-602 trigger + recievers.
My daughter couldn't believe I was taking a shot without her in so got a bit stroppy and acted like a little madam lol.

This was very difficult and I only had one chance to get this so pleased how it came out but the background needed to be brighter and crisper so wished I used a better setting for the background SB600 either 1/16 or even 1/8.
