Sometimes, I drive past a tree in a field and think to myself, one day i'll stop and photograph that. This is a tree that we pass when we go up to Manchester (the non motorway and much more scenic route) and I have been meaning to stop for a while, but today I went there specifically to take the shot , my 1000th picture upload to Flickr. The tree stands in the middle of a field right at the top of a small hill, and I love it! The Old Man Stands Alone On Black
