First up. Apologies for the sneaky archive shot... I was flicking (not flickring) through iPhoto and came across the set I did down at the barrage in January (see this Other Shot). The original I made into an HDR but loser that I am, I tend to keep all the original exposures. This one was the underexposed component of another HDR shot I discarded because the fisherman moved during the three shots. The framing was the same as the original above, so this one I've cropped. Its pretty much just a RAW conversion, no additional PS. In some ways I think it is better than the original (which to this day is my 'most interesting shot', according to Flickr. But hey, what does an interestingness algorithm know anyway? P.s. for those who can't be bothered to look at the original and read the description, this was taken one January morning, just before 0800, down on the Cardiff bay barrage. A Greasemonkey script that adds Flickriver links to various Flickr photo pages - user photos, favorites, pools etc, allowing to quickly open the corresponding Flickriver view.
Also, allows quickly viewing any Flickr photo on black background in large size.
While viewing any Flickr photos page, click on the bookmarklet to open the same view on Flickriver.
To install: drag and drop the following link to your Bookmarks toolbar.
IE users - add the link to your Favorites under the Links folder
