Leaving Manila at 400 MPH Leaving Manila at 400 MPH
Leaving Manila at 400 MPH

Leaving Manila once more. But the view never gets boring on another day like this. There's always some adrenalin rush every time you are inside something, weighing as much as 230 tons(that's more than 200,000 kilos), and accelerating from 0 to over 450 kilometers per hour in just 2 kilometers only. Add the view that you can see after a few seconds, its worth the wait. Taking off from east to west runway, Manila International Airport. The view is that of Terminal 1. The blue Boeing 777 is KLM's Flight 804, boarding passengers bound for Amsterdam. Why I know its 804, well, the control tower knows it. As well as all the passengers on that flight. Photo taken near the western end of the main runway. The large building is terminal 1. In the distance, the group of skyscrapers to the left of the frame are the buildings of Manila, to the right are the buildings of Makati. Well, I'm bound for the south this time...
