For those who got tired of the Mayon series, this is the last shot. So, there will be a new series in a day or two. This is one of the last shots I took over the province of Albay.
This shot was taken differently from the earlier shots. Took this from SSW of the volcano, so as to get some sunlight on other side and some shadows on the opposite side. Lagonoy Gulf and part of Tabaco Bay can be seen in the distance. Well, just took one more shot, something, no postcard can ever show you.
Unlike the previous shots, this shot was taken at a higher altitude, probably about 14,000 ft, about 4,000 ft higher than the summit, and from about 7 kilometers away from the summit.
Mt. Mayon is currently one of the leading candidates for the new seven natural wonders of the world.
