Sleepless in Sheung Wan - a photo on Flickriver

And finally, months after I returned and started to upload these, we're down to my final shot of Hong Kong. On our last day (and evening there - seriously, a 1am flight? COME ON) we switched to a cheap hotel just so we had somewhere with a shower and somewhere to keep our stuff before we needed to head to the airport.

Michael went to go and change the remaining money we had, which left me in the room on my own. I'm not good on my own- my mind instantly jumps to the worst possible scenarios (usually people dying and me being alone). To try and take my mind off that and to waste a few minutes, I scrunched myself up in the small space by the window and took some photographs. My previous hotel had launched itself above the surrounding buildings, so it was a nice change to be closer to them now- to feel like I was part of the city rather than looking down to it.

Hong Kong! Again! After the first time not working out so well (mostly due to my condition) me and my best friend Michael returned to do the bits we missed out on and generally have a few different experiences than before.
