Golden Field

Taken in Virginia, USA at the edge of the Allegheny mountains. If you think this photo deserves a "Fav" then please, by all means click the fav star icon and make it one. Believe it or not, this is not an HDR or merged from two exposures. This was just a 2 minute touch-up inside LightZone for Linux. I then added a slight vignette and a touch of sharpness in Gimp. View Large On Black Funny thing happened while I was taking these shots. Someone else stopped on the road and took shots from the side of the road with what looked at a distance like a decent SLR. I figure he was a pretend photographer - he didn't even have enough guts to go hiking down into the field like me to get the real shots and instead stood by his car. lol. Here's the original drab shot as it came out of the camera along with a description of how I saved this capture using LightZone.

A Greasemonkey script that adds Flickriver links to various Flickr photo pages - user photos, favorites, pools etc, allowing to quickly open the corresponding Flickriver view.

Also, allows quickly viewing any Flickr photo on black background in large size.
