Northern Inuit Dog Puppy - a photo on Flickriver

            Two in one day!  We met two of these puppies in the same day at the Royal Norfolk show.  This one is a twenty week old with bi-eyes - had quite a tumble with Wolfy!

'Northern Inuit Dogs' are a recent British-made breed, not yet recognised by the Kennel Club as a registered breed.  They are an attempt (not the only one!) to create a more wolf-like dog breed.  The founding stock were allegedly sled dog stock imported from Canada and Alaska, crossed with Siberian Huskies, Malamutes, and strangely, German Shepherd Dogs (apparently an attempt to make them more 'trainable').
