Cruzeiro de São Manços - Portugal - a photo on Flickriver

O cruzeiro de São Manços terá sido edificado no século XIV. Assente num fuste setecentista de mármore de Estremoz, o cruzeiro apresenta uma cruz de Aviz esculpida em pedra de São Brissos, com os braços rematados por motivos lanceolados em forma de flor-de-lis. No anel que separa a cruz do fuste encontra-se uma inscrição em epígrafe que atesta a origem da encomenda do cruzeiro: ESTA CRUZ MANDOU FAZER O MESTRE DE AVIS. O conjunto assenta numa base quadrangular dividida em três degraus.
