ÖBB 1216.021 Sankt Jodok (3987n) - a photo on Flickriver

            Der diesjährige Winter scheint aufgrund der globalen Erwärmung in tieferen Lagen komplett schneefrei zu bleiben. Um wenigstens ein paar Bilder mit der von mir schmerzlich vermissten weißen Pracht anzufertigen, besuchte ich am 08. Februar 2020 die Brennerbahn. Dort hatte es wenige Tage zuvor kräftig geschneit. Der Blick auf Sankt Jodok ist auf den relevanten Plattformen schon unzählige Male vertreten, dennoch fotografiere ich dort nach wie vor gerne. Der Tag begann für mich mit einer Aufnahme des REX 1826 von Trento nach Innsbruck, der an diesem Tage von der 1216.021 gezogen wurde. 

Due to global warming, this year's winter seems to remain completely free of snow at lower altitudes. In order to take at least a few pictures with the white splendour that I sorely missed, I visited the Brennerbahn on February 8th 2020. There it had snowed heavily a few days before. The view of St. Jodok is already represented countless times on the relevant platforms, but I still like to take pictures there. The day started for me with a picture of the regional train REX 1826 from Trento to Innsbruck, which was pulled on this day by ÖBB's 1216.021.
