            Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert, welche hochalpinen Ausblicke die Illertalbahn bietet. Bei Langenwang kann man den Schneck und den schon in Österreich liegenden Großen Krottenkopf in Szene setzen. Überrascht war ich, dass man neben den Allgäuer Hochalpen auch die Schisprungschanzen von Oberstdorf auf das Bild bekommt. Da wird das eigentliche Objekt der Begierde zum Nebendarsteller. Die von der Press für wenige Tage angemietete 218 056 schob am späten Nachmittag des 08. September 2020 den ALX 84142 nach Oberstdorf. 

I am always fascinated by the alpine views the track between Immenstadt and Oberstdorf offers. Near Langenwang you can see mountains called Schneck and Großer Krottenkopf, the last one is already situated in Austria. I was surprised to see that besides the high alps you can also see the famous ski jumps of Oberstdorf on the picture. There the actual object of desire becomes a supporting actor. The 218 056 rented from Press for a few days pushed the ALX 84142 to Oberstdorf in the late afternoon of September 8, 2020.
