            Here is an example of a late 90's/early 2000's Big Lots bag. The bag's generic design and lack of the Big Lots name was chosen since in the late 90's, Big Lots operated stores under the names Big Lots, Odd Lots, MacFrugal's, and Pic N' Save. The generic design let Big Lots use these bags at any of their stores regardless of name, rather than having four different designs to deal with. In 2001, Big Lots rebranded all of their stores to the single Big Lots name as a part of a large corporate consolidation and streamlining of operations. While everything was untied under the single name by 2002, this generic bag design managed to stick around for another year or so after that, before getting replaced with bags bearing Big Lots' actual logo on them.
