            Noto's City Gate

From Wikipedia:

The project of the royal gate began in 1838 when Noto learned of the arrival of King Ferdinand II of Bourbon , known as the King of the Two Sicilies . Initially, Noto was separated by a large muddy valley with trees, beyond the valley was the Capuchin convent. The designer of the work was the Neapolitan Angelini who also built the statue of Ferdinand which later became a war memorial. It was completed in the same year with the appearance it still has today.

The Porta Reale square was restored in 2014 by the Municipal Administration which undertook numerous restoration projects of the city bringing it back to its ancient splendor.

I've been busy as of late with an increased time commitment with work, so Flickr has taken a back seat.  I will still post, but it probably won't be as frequent.
