            Der Dresdner Striezelmarkt ist einer der ältesten Weihnachtsmärkte Deutschlands. Er wird seit 1434 im Advent meistens auf dem Altmarkt in Dresden veranstaltet. Vom 24. November bis 24. Dezember 2016 findet der 582. Striezelmarkt statt.
The Dresden Striezelmarkt (Fruit Bread Fair, named after a typical Christmas cake) is one of the oldest Christmas fairs in Germany. Since 1434 that it has been attracting people to the Old Market in the centre of Dresden during the last four weeks before Chrismas. The 2016 Striezelmarkt is the 582th one.
