24-16 Gray's Casino - a photo on Flickriver

            1909 Gray’s Casino on White Lake located in the town of Bethel, NY. When looking at all four images as a collection then I can piece a few things together. There is a sign that states that the boats will take you “To any Hotel” so I’m assuming there were at least a few hotels on the lake at the time. Huff, Photo’s studio was used for these pictures as you can see a signature in one of them and a date of 1909. In one of the images you can see the advertising sign for the studio as well. It looks like it was quite the place to be, with a bowling alley, Cigars, Turkish Cigarettes and candies for sale. There was even a barber shop so you could look your best.
