Obstructed Flow

            Here’s another one of the river delta shots that I took on our custom photo flight at Skaftafell. In this image, I especially like all the crisscrossing patterns created by the obstructed flow of water due to the stones in the riverbed. During the flight, it was difficult to enjoy everything I saw since I was focussed on taking as many images as possible, but looking at all the images now brings back the memories of my first flight with a Cessna and the overwhelming feeling of seeing these beautiful natural abstracts for the first time.
