Long Tailed Tit - Aegithalos caudatus

            Long-tailed tits have a tail which is bigger than their body 
They are rather noisy and can often be heard before they are seen and usually fly around in small flocks of about 20 birds.
They like to roam the woods and hedgerows, but can also be seen on heaths and commons that have suitable bushes.
They weigh around 7 - 10 grams less than a £1 coin
