Kunden State School, Mid North South Australia

            This state school was built after many German schools, usually related with churches, were closed.
There are tennis courts on the grounds of this old school: it was probably here that Kunden Tennis Club played for many years.

The name Carlsruhe was changed to Kunden in 1917 and was to be always used from July 1918.
