Let’s pretend I haven’t already posted a photo of this exact same road sign before

Back outside again, here’s a look at one of the tall pylons for the mall, this one located in the Barnes and Noble outparcel facing Germantown Parkway. (Normally I would structure this set a little better so as to avoid all this inside-outside back-and-forth, but I’m choosing simply to go through the images in order of the dates they were taken instead.)

Again, as I said earlier, I’ve always liked Wolfchase’s exterior design… I don’t think the mall building itself is super unique architecturally (and of course, all the anchor tenants built in their own styles), but I have always liked their entry towers, the main entrance into the carousel court, and these road signs, which all have a cohesive, Wolfchase-specific identity. Lately, as you well know, Simon has been trying to squash its malls’ individual identities, with standardized branding imagery and logos. Here at Wolfchase, Simon did do a tiny bit of that, by applying a black-and-white color scheme to the monument signs at the mall access points (as I showed y’all here)… but thankfully, the rest of the mall has been able to remain untouched, including the giant road sign shown here. Obviously, I hope that will continue to be the case (knock on wood!)!
