            Elvis (Red-shouldered hawk) is such a lovely backyard visitor.  I love it when he comes to visit and allows me to go about my business.  Especially when I am out with the camera.  

Still this one does not trust me as much as his grandfather did.  I am allowed to be about twenty feet from where he decides to perch.  However, any closer and he's out!  His grandfather used to come visit and hang out near me.  He knew I would stir up a lizard or frog for him.  Now that Elvis was a smart raptor.  

Perhaps young Elvis will learn one of these days.  I can be trusted and a nice lizard or frog snack can be pretty easy to grab when I am around.
