Starry Windmill - a photo on Flickriver

Starry Windmill

            I went to a town called Kashiwa, located in Chiba Prefecture in Japan to photograph this epic windmill. To my surprise, I was the ONLY one there all night! Granted, it was freezing cold. In fact, by the time dawn came around, the pond had frozen over, ruining the reflection of the morning gradation. 

My wide angle lens (15mm F2.8) could not gather enough light to grab focus, so I opted for the 50mm F1.4 which could gather enough light to autofocus, and I made this 4-shot vertical format panorama.
