Crow vs Cat at Japanese Buddhist Temple

Japanese crows are of the large-bill Jungle crow variety and quite large. They are known for their intelligence and in Shinto traditions are believed to be messengers of the gods. Bobtail cats are a breed of cats which have been in Japan for a thousand years or more. Their best representation is the beckoning cat (Maneki neko) which you can see dipping it's paw down to give good luck. Here two face-off over some food at Gokokuji a Buddhist Temple in Tokyo.
